I'm an experienced writer and editor with strong writing skills in print and online journalism, copy editing, historical and educational writing, features and news reporting, breaking news, finding story ideas, photography and social media management.

I have a passion for writing, sports reporting, research and history. I understand how to succeed in a newspaper and digital environment with accuracy, tight deadlines and social media usage being essential for success.

I have a high level of work experience and education and have continued to develop as a journalist and writer. I have an extensive background in writing, reporting, research at both the journalistic and educational levels. I've worked in all spheres of journalism from print and radio to television and online.

I'm currently working for the Woodstock Sentinel-Review, a daily newspaper in southwestern Ontario, that's part of the Sun Media newspaper chain. My work has previously appeared in the Toronto Sun, the Calgary Sun, the Edmonton Sun, the Ottawa Sun, the London Free Press, the Western Gazette, and several other publications. I've also given multiple lectures at conferences on topics in the Second World War and have been published at the university level.
